Partner Hotline

Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. as well as its domestic and overseas subsidiaries (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Fuji Electric”) puts the highest priority on the global compliance in its Code of Conduct and regards compliance as a base for confidence in society which is essential to its sustained growth.

In connection with the foregoing, this time we have newly established a “Partner Hotline” system for officers and employees of Fuji Electric’s business partners for material supply, as outlined below. If an officer or employee finds an actual or suspected violation of any law or regulation or inappropriate act by Fuji Electric employees, the system will provide the officer or employee with a route of communications, independent from regular business channel, to report the matter to us.

By introducing such a system, we would like to deepen mutual trust between you and us, and also fulfill our social responsibility, at our attempt of prompt improvement while receiving various advice and instructions from business partners for material supply. Thank you for your cooperation.

Description of Partner Hotline

  1. Operations

    • If an officer or employee of any business partner for material supply (hereinafter collectively referred to as a “Notifier”) finds an actual or suspected violation of any law or regulation or inappropriate act in relation with Fuji Electric’s business, the Notifier may notify any of the following reporting contacts (the Notifier may notify without specifying its name or the name of its company). Please refrain from reporting any matter not related to the foregoing (such as malicious slander against any individual).
    • If a designated outside lawyer is notified, the lawyer shall communicate the information to any person in charge of the Business Ethics Helpline.
    • We shall carry out a fact-finding investigation, consider how to address the matter, such as corrective and recurrence prevention measures, implement the same, and, if necessary, a person in charge of the Business Ethics Helpline shall, directly or through outside lawyers, inform the Notifier of actions taken by us against the matter.
    • We shall treat the Notifier’s personal information (such as its name and the name of the company which it belongs to) in a proper manner to the extent of the purpose of addressing the matter notified, and shall not disclose or provide such personal information to any person other than the unit in charge of handling the matter, etc., except when obtaining consent from the Notifier or for a good reason.
  2. Protection of Notifiers

We guarantee that through such reporting of information neither the Notifier nor the business partner which the Notifier belongs to will not suffer any prejudicial treatment, reprisals or discrimination for its actions.
