Environmental Management Organizational Framework
The Sustainability Committee, formerly the SDGs Promotion Committee, deliberates and evaluates the environmental management issues identified by the Environmental Vision Promotion Subcommittee. These issues are then reported to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors for consideration as necessary.
The Environmental Manufacturing Working Group, composed of environmental managers from the operating sites, promotes initiatives aimed at achieving the Environmental Vision 2050 and complies with our Basic Environmental Protection Policy. Members incorporate environmental goals and initiatives into their respective divisions and are responsible for managing and thoroughly implementing these initiatives based on environmental management systems.
In 2025, we established the GX Product Strategy Committee with the aim of capturing the growing demand for decarbonization and expanding our business.
We also created a specialized organization and a professional structure to focus our collective efforts on addressing key environmental issues, enabling us to develop policies and strategic plans promptly.
Fuji Electric continues to take various approaches to resolve environmental issues.

Environmental Management Targets
Environmental management targets are determined along with measures to be taken to achieve medium-to-long-term targets set forth in Environmental Vision 2050.
Fuji Electric launched the Fiscal 2030 Reduction Target together with the Environmental Vision 2050 in June 2019. Given the global shift toward decarbonization, in March 2022 we updated those parts of the Fiscal 2030 Reduction Target that relate to the achievement of a decarbonized society.
In recent years, society has sought to transition toward a circular economy. For this reason, in June 2024 we updated those parts of the Fiscal 2030 Reduction Target that relate to the achievement of a circular society.
