In order to maximize performance in the design of power electronics equipment, it is very important to link with power devices, circuits and structures in the development.
Fuji Electric is continuing to work on linkage-based development through the use of simulations. For example, we are developing a device model in consideration of physical characteristics in order to accurately reproduce switching waveforms. By combining this model with thermo-fluid analysis and noise analysis, we can predict the expected heat and noise before starting trial manufacture.
By doing this, we will be able to develop cooling structures and noise filters suitable for equipment in a short period of time reworking the process.
