Photoconductors

We are globally stepping up its development, production and sales of photoconductors using electrophotographic technology to supply the most advanced products to customers worldwide.

Product Information

What is a Photoconductive drum?

Main components of copier and printer.
This unique semiconductor can convert optical signals into images printed on paper.

example 1

Electrophotographic process

First, the surface of the photoconductive drum is electrically charged. Light is then applied to this surface in the form of pictures or characters, canceling the charge in the areas of the surface exposed to the light and creating an electrical image called a "latent image".
Next, toner is passed over the surface and is electrostatically attracted to the latent image. When paper is then passed over the drum, the toner is transferred to the paper.
