Fuji Electric, its domestic consolidated companies, and its overseas consolidated production companies have established Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and are promoting certification by third-party organizations.
All employees undergo environmental training and engage in routine environmental activities, such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and the effective use of water resources, which have become firmly established.

The five uncertified sites are Fuji Gemco, Fuji SEMEC Inc., Fuji SMBE Harwal, Fuji SMBE Macquarie, and United Fuji Semiconductor.
The environmental ISO coverage rate is 90% (45/50) based on production sites and 98% based on the number of employees.

Since fiscal 2003, the Fuji Electric Group has continuously conducted "environmental patrols (internal audits)" by the environmental management promotion department at ISO 14001-certified sites.
In these patrols, we utilize our unique "Fact Sheet (Note)," which integrates inspection records for legal compliance and environmental risks, as well as performance data for energy, chemical substances, and waste. By visualizing the environmental risks at each site, we promote improvement activities in unison with the frontline to reduce identified risks, decrease environmental impact, and elevate management levels. The patrol coverage rate continues to be 100% for our production sites, ensuring thorough legal compliance and environmental risk management.
For domestic production sites, patrols are conducted annually using a combination of on-site visits and remote patrols via web conferencing systems. In fiscal 2025, these were carried out at 10 on-site locations and 10 remote locations.
Overseas production sites are managed using a combination of on-site patrols on a three-year cycle and document-based patrols (using checklists) in the years when on-site patrols are not conducted. In fiscal 2025, on-site patrols were conducted at three sites.

During a construction project where our company was the prime contractor, a legal violation occurred when waste was processed by a contractor other than the industrial waste disposal contractor with which we had a service contract. Under the guidance of the administrative authorities, the waste was successfully processed by an appropriate contractor. In addition, no penalties were applied by the authorities.

To maintain a stable production system, it is essential that we strengthen environmental risk management at our production sites. For this reason, we actively promote education and understanding of competence for personnel at our production sites on such topics as mitigating climate change risk, preventing pollution, and increasing environmental risk sensitivity.
We conduct risk management for all domestic production sites from two perspectives: managing risks related to facilities and equipment using the Environmental Risk Map, and managing environmental performance risks using the Fact Sheet.

Based on the flood risk assessment associated with the frequent occurrence of extreme weather, which was conducted in fiscal 2022 through our TCFD activities, we implemented countermeasures tailored to the risk levels at our domestic and overseas production sites by fiscal 2024. In addition to physical countermeasures, we also created a countermeasure action timeline. Utilizing this timeline allows us to anticipate the situations that will occur during a disaster and take the necessary disaster prevention actions.

In Japan, we had assessed the soil and groundwater pollution status at all production sites by fiscal 2007. We initiated purification at the 13 production sites that exceeded standard values, and this has been completed at 9 of these sites.
Subsequently, we conducted investigations when opportunities for soil surveys arose as stipulated by the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act*1. For production sites where it was determined that groundwater monitoring was necessary, as of June 2026, we are conducting purification at three production sites *2 and groundwater monitoring at four production sites*3.
