Overview of how personal information is handled when downloading data on social media

(1)Handling of customer information
The handling of customer information in connection with the download of data will be strictly managed in accordance with Fuji Electric’s Privacy Policy.

(2)Intended use of customer information
We will use customer information for the following purposes only.
i. For business negotiations, meetings, and communications
ii. To provide information on products, services, exhibitions and other events
iii. To conduct questionnaire surveys on products and services
iv. To provide maintenance and services
v. To respond to inquiries and consultations
vi. To publish data related to products and services

(3)Disclosure of customer information
Fuji Electric will not disclose customer information to third parties except in the following circumstances:
- When the customer has given prior consent
- When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, even if it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent in advance.
- When required by law
- When the handling of personal information is entrusted to a third party in accordance with (4) below.
- When business is passed to another company due to merger, corporate separation, transfer of business or other reasons.

(4)Entrusting customer information to third parties
To the extent necessary to achieve the above purposes of use, if it is deemed appropriate to have our affiliates or contractors (such as special agents; hereby referred to simply as “contractors”) respond to your inquiry, we may provide the content of your inquiry, including customer information, to the relevant parties. In this case, Fuji Electric will take responsibility for appropriately supervising the handling of personal information by the contractor. The scope of work for the contractors and the purpose of use by the contractors are as follows.

(5)Parties responsible for the management of customer information (including the contractors mentioned in the previous section)
The personal information we collect will be handled appropriately by the department head under the supervision of the following point of contact.

(7)Provision of customer information
The provision of customer information to us is at the discretion of the customer, but if such customer information is not provided to Fuji Electric, we may not be able to provide data.

(8)Inquiries about customer information
If you have any questions or comments regarding the handling of customer information, please contact the Personal Information Inquiries Office.

Customers may use the data, etc. provided by Fuji Electric under the conditions specified by Fuji Electric.
You may not reproduce, alter, or reprint the data without permission.
The copyright and usage rights of the data provided by Fuji Electric are in accordance with Sections 1. through 5. of the Terms of Services.

Fuji Electric reserves the right to revise this document at any time by posting a revised version of this document on our website.

This document is written in English, and the English version is the correct version. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and an outline prepared in a language other than English, the English version shall supersede the other version.

This outline shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Any dispute, controversy or difference of opinion arising out of or relating to this outline between the customer and Fuji Electric shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance. In the case that the customer is a corporation, organization or individual from a country or region other than Japan, the dispute shall be finally settled by arbitration in Tokyo, Japan, by the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Such arbitration shall be conducted in Japanese.
