1. Target Models

2. Major Revisions

(1)Macro command added
	Macro commands enabling real number operation have been added. S - Additional macro commands: F_ADD (addition), F_SUB (subtraction), F_MUL (multiplication), F_DIV (division), F_SUM (sum total), F_AVG (average), F_MAX (maximum), and F_MIN (minimum)

(2)Number of files in backup folder for sampling files increased
	The number of files created in the backup folder for sampling files has been increased from 10 to 36.

(3)New specification added for the sampling file backup folder
	A new specification has been added so that sampling files will be deleted from old backup folders when the volume of new sampling files being backed up in a CF (Compact Flash) card exceeds the CF card capacity.

(4)Switch lamp with 16-notch capability (UG30)
	The number of selectable patterns for the switch lamp has been increased to 16.

(5)Background macro added
	A macro has been added to Video2 macros for use in video display items so that snapshot images can be saved regardless of whether they are displayed on the POD screen or not.

(a) Windows Font Functions Added

Warning functions have been added that provide warnings when an attempt to edit screen data using
Windows fonts is made in a personal computer in which a specified font has not been installed.

・Searches for uninstalled fonts when the file is opened, and outputs a warning message.
・Detects uninstalled fonts during the error check and sends a warning.
・Displays uninstalled fonts in red in the Windows font list.
・Displays uninstalled fonts in red in the dialog boxes for graphics text strings.
・Prohibits changes to text properties of items using uninstalled fonts.
・Prohibits zooming up or down of graphics text strings or other components in screens that are using uninstalled fonts.
・Displays a list of the Windows fonts in use.

When multiple language input is required using Windows fonts (without CF card) on multi-language sheet and message edit screens, the display language switching menu has been added to enable editing in multi-language by selecting required font.

4. Compatibility with Conventional Products

Compatibility of screen data is shown below.

Screen data incorporating any functions of the new version cannot be used by earlier versions of the screen programming software.

5. Upgrade Procedure

(1)	Create a new folder in any location of the PC's hard disk.
(2)	Download the V3.2.24.0 update file (UGUpdate_eV3.2.24.0.exe) to the new folder.
(3)	Double-click the update file (self-extracting compressed file).
(4)	Files are extracted in the folder.
(5)	Among the extracted files, double-click the setup.exe in the "UGUpdate_e" folder.
(6)	Install the software according to the installer's instructions.
(7)	When the installation procedure is completed, activate UG00S and make sure the version number has been updated to V3.2.24.0 using the Help menu. If V3.2.24.0 is displayed, installation has completed successfully.

6. Notes on Upgrade

(1)	Install the update file to the PC in which UG00S-3W/3 WE/CW is installed.
(2)	The update file can be used only when the version of UG00S-3W/3 WE/CW already installed is V2.0.0.0 or later.
(3)	If the size of the update file differs from that of the downloaded file, discard the file and download it again.
(4)	The update file does not include Gothic font files, 3D Parts files, and English Gothic and Times font files. If you are using UG00S-3W/3WE (V2.3 or earlier), you need to download and install Gothic font files and 3D Parts file in addition to the update file. (If you are using UG00S-CW, you can skip this procedure.)
(5)	The update file includes the main program and I/F drivers for PLC.
