In recent years, there has been an increasing demand in the FA field for continuous monitoring of production member components.

Fuji Electric has developed a technology for performing in-line, contactless automatic measurement of various member components using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). LIBS is a technology for measuring the amount of elements contained in a material by irradiating it with a laser and analyzing the generated plasma by spectroscopy.
