Fuji Electric Co., Ltd.

Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., announces today the sales release of its new GNP series high-efficiency, sensorless synchronous motors.

1. Objective

Industrial-use motors for pumps, compressors, and other equipment account for about 50% of global power consumption. Accordingly, countries around the world are speeding up efforts to implement regulations that require the use of more efficient motors. This is creating demand for drive systems that combine control inverters with motors that can operate at more efficient levels.
To comply with these new regulations and respond to customer demand for low energy usage, Fuji Electric is releasing next-generation, high-efficiency synchronous drive systems that integrate synchronous motors and dedicated drive inverters. Through these varied products, Fuji Electric is dedicated to helping its customers consume less energy in the future.
