Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. as well as its domestic and overseas subsidiaries (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Fuji Electric”) put the highest priority on global compliance in the “Fuji Electric Code of Conduct” as a basis for contributing to society through sustained growth.

The “Partner Hotline” provides officers and employees of Fuji Electric’s business partners with an independent route of communication, separate from regular business communication lines, to report actual or suspected violations of any law or regulation or inappropriate act by Fuji Electric employees relating to business when they find such matter.

By introducing this system, we seek to increase mutual trust between you and us, and also to fulfill our social responsibilities while receiving various advice and instructions from our business partners. We would greatly appreciate your cooperation.

Outline of Partner Hotline

1.Operations

  1. 1.

    If an officer or employee of any business partner finds an actual or suspected violation of any law or regulation or inappropriate act in relation to Fuji Electric’s business such as material procurement, he or she may notify any of the following reporting contacts. (Reports may be made anonymously, without giving the notifier’s or company’s name.) Please refrain from reporting any matter not related to the foregoing (such as malicious slander against any individual).

  2. 2.

    If a designated external lawyer is notified, the lawyer will communicate the information to a person in charge of the Partner Hotline.

  3. 3.

    At Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., separately specified personnel to deal with the whistle-blowing case (hereinafter referred to as “Personnel”) will consider and investigate the facts of the report and how to address the matter, such as taking corrective and recurrence prevention measures.

  4. 4.

    If necessary, a person in charge of the Partner Hotline will, directly or through external lawyers, inform the Notifier of the actions taken by us against the matter (except for cases reported anonymously).

  5. 5.

    We will share the Notifier’s personal information (such as their name and company) and information that could identify the Notifier only among the Personnel, who may not disclose such information to any other person without obtaining the consent of the Notifier or except for other good reason.

2.Protection of Notifiers

We guarantee that due to such reporting of information neither the Notifier nor the business partner to which the Notifier belongs will suffer any prejudicial treatment, reprisals or discrimination.

Each Notifier can select any among the following reporting contacts. We would ask any Notifier to state clearly that it is using the Partner Hotline when reporting information.
