Fuji Electric to establish Fuji Electric Tsugaru Semiconductor Co., Ltd.

Tokyo, July 02, 2012 - Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “Fuji Electric” or “the Company”; )(TSE: 6504) announces today that it has completed a Share Transfer Agreement to purchase the Tsugaru Factory of Renesas Northern Japan Semiconductor, Inc. and has established Fuji Electric Tsugaru Semiconductor Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, as outlined below.
