Release of SK Series Magnetic Contactors and Magnetic Switches

Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., announces today that its subsidiary, Fuji Electric FA Components & Systems Co., Ltd., is releasing the newly designed SK series of magnetic contactors and magnetic switches.

1. Objective

Demand is growing for increasingly compact and less energy-consuming magnetic contactors and magnetic switches, which are integrated in smaller, energy-efficient industrial-use machinery and other types of equipment.
  In response, Fuji Electric substantially revamped the design of its magnetic contactors and magnetic switches for the new SK series. Enhancements include the adoption of small-sized actuators, for developing products that are the smallest and lightest in the industry and achieve low power consumption. Furthermore, Fuji Electric has developed the series with specifications compatible with global standards, in response to customers that are expanding operations over the world.


2. Features
(1) The smallest magnetic contactors in the industry※1
  • Fuji Electric realized a smaller size for the models, measuring 45 x 48 x 49 millimeters (width x height x depth)
(2) Full lineup available
  • Features 2.4- and 1.2-watt alternating current and direct current models rated at 6, 9, or 12 amperes
(3) More compact motor control circuit
  • Fuji Electric was able to design a more compact and superior motor control circuit by combining the series with its BM3 series manual motor starter (MMS) to form a combination starter
(4) Acquired major global certifications
  • Compliant with JIS, IEC, GB (CCC※2), UL, and TUV standards
