Second Notice Regarding Support following the Great East Japan Earthquake

Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. (“Fuji Electric” or “the Company”) again expresses its deepest condolences to those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. It is the Company’s sincere hope that the nation recovers as quickly as possible.

Fuji Electric had previously announced a donation of ¥100 million and products including fuel and solar cells valued at ¥100 million to relief and support efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake. The Company has determined the exact components of this donation, as listed below. In addition to this donation, several Fuji Electric affiliate companies will donate a total of ¥16 million to the disaster areas through the Red Cross Society and local social welfare councils.

1. A monetary donation of ¥100 million will be given to the Central Community Chest of Japan.
2. One fuel cell will be provided to the disaster headquarters of Miyagi Prefecture. Fuji Electric will announce the location where the fuel cell is installed when the headquarters decides it.
3. 500 Mobile Solar Units equipped with Fuji Electric solar cells will be donated, with 300 units going to the disaster headquarters of Miyagi Prefecture, 100 units to the disaster headquarters of Fukushima Prefecture, and 100 units to the disaster headquarters of Iwate Prefecture.
