Receipt of Statement of Objections from the European Commission

On November 25, 2008, Fuji Electric Holdings Co., Ltd. received a Statement of Objections from the European Commission in relation to an allegation of infringement of competition law in the market of power transformers in Europe. Fuji Electric Holdings Co., Ltd. intends to review the findings of facts by the European Commission and take appropriate actions; it does not intend to make any further public announcements about this case prior to the final decision of the European Commission.
